[REVIEW] Paddington (2014)

fandango.com

Our favorite bear in childhood made into a movie by Hollywood. Of course the genre of this movie is children's films.

Synopsis:
After the earthquake that destroyed his woods, a small bear goes to England to find a new home. The bear was rescued by the Brown family and given the name Paddington. Paddington slowly began to adapt to human life, but Millicent (Nicole Kidman) wanted to hunt Paddington to be preserved and used as one of her collection.

Obviously this movie was made for children. The story of this film stresses the importance of family. However, adults can obviously enjoy this movie. Joke in the film is not far from the slapstick comedy. Many funny scenes that I think are too much.

Paddington bear is made with CGI effects. The effects are very good so it looks very real. All the emotions of the bear successfully captured. One of the strengths of this film is the cinematography which is very good. It is like reading a story book coupled with bright colors. The beauty of London is shown in this film.

The film is supported by the senior actor whose their skill are amazing such as Sally Hawkins, Hugh Bonneville and Nicole Kidman. Well although Nicole Kidman's acting a little bit too much.
