[REVIEW] Imitation Game

This Biopic is about Alan Turing, the Enigma code-breaking time from world war II. The film is starring Benedict Cumberbatch (Yep that handsome Sherlock) and Kiera Knightley (That pretty pirates) and both have very good chemistry.

Synopsis: This is a story is about Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch). The story contains about his school life, apply for a job in government as one of the team assigned to solve the enigma code, meeting with Joan Clarke until his post-war life.

Things that make this film unique is how told Alan struggle with the fact that he is gay and in earlier times, gay regarded as a disease or criminal act. With groove back and forth won’t  make the audience confused. However, it is unfortunate, less detail how Alan Turing's life after the war but if dug deeper, the film will be much better. Overall, this movie is great and deserves a wide range of Oscar nominations.

[REVIEW] FURY

 Okay guys, you must be know Brad Pitt? Senior and legendary actor with a lot of movies that have penetrated the hearts (I Can’t belive I said that). In any movie Brad Pitt somehow almost always bewitched us with his acting and his character as a cool man. The most common example, fight club, then Benjamin Button, Troy, Ocean's trilogy, Inglourious Basterds, and most recently the World War Z. Well, in 2014 the hero is back with a war movie, Fury.

Synopsis : In World War II, Don "Wardaddy" (Brad Pitt) led an army tank named Fury. After the death of one of his colleagues, comes a new junior soldier who just trained for 8 weeks, Norman Ellison (Logan Lerman). The story is all about how the soldier fight in the war and how they handle their emotional problem during war.

Well, maybe from the synopsis, it sounds like an usual war movies and well you could say so. But the good thing about this movie is how the American soldiers not 'innocent' as in other war films. It can be seen that they 'use' German woman after the ambush. The film also tells how important teamwork. Logan Lerman’s acting is able to compete with Brad Pitt and make us think that he was annoying to be sympathetic.
